Someone tell me that game developers never have sacrificed nothing in there life.

They most likely do have family and friends and religious beliefs, but I'm sure they still sacrifice things. Developers on big AAA titles sacrifice free time. When those games get close to release they have what is known as "crunch" time and they work upwards
of 70 hours a week. I'd say most sacrifice something.

Below is an article about Videogame Crunch and a paragraph from that article.

Spend any amount of time talking to people who make video games and you’ll hear thousands of stories like this. Crunch, as it’s called, has become status quo for the video game industry, as routine to game developers’ lives as daily commutes or lunch
breaks. From multimillion-dollar blockbusters like Call of Duty to niche RPGs like Trails, just about every video game in history is the net result of countless overtime hours, extra weekends, and free time sacrificed
for the almighty deadline. This crunch comes in many different forms—sometimes it’s long and drawn-out; other times it’s just a few weeks at the end of a project—but for people who work in video games, it’s always there. And because most game developers work
on salaries, it’s almost always unpaid.

    Unreasonable XBOX Live Communications Suspension

So what you are saying is you have never lost your temper at someone on a game. Hats off to you. Previous experience of me reporting people for abusing during game chat resulted in nothing which is why i have my doubts in the system. And what your telling
me to do is allow myself to get given grief have the mick taken out of me even to an extent be bullied. Nope not going to happen. I life by if your big enough to give it then your big enough to take it. Not for anyone am i getting bullied or abused.

Cheevos: What have we really achieved?

    TL:DR....

Cheevos are what you make of them. What have you acheived? Having fun Im guessing. Remember, not everyone is like you. Ive had a blast getting my score and have sacrificed nothing in my life to achieve the score I have now. Been actively gaming on the 360
since 2007. 80k/4 = 20k a year, which IMO is nothing depending on how many games you buy, in my case, a good amount.
