You know first off I know this isnt the first complaint. But when me and my cousin are in a party. And a friend brings a person along named. [Mod removed]. And starts naming off lactions of utah where we live I was like first of all how does he know im
in utah? Mine and also my cousins profile has no location. Weird huh. Then says my cousin lives about 30 miles away f4om where he really lives. And boom he goes offline. I get a phone call from my cousin. Last night and he says turtle did something to my account.
I asked turtle what he did. And he said I messed around snd host booted his router offline. I have heard of this before but never experienced it. Then wow all of a sudden after I ask I all of a sudden get disconnected from xbox live. No internet whatsoever
for 3 hours. I get back on after asking my internet service provider to force change my ip. So I would stop being forced offline. I had 5 messages all from. [Mod removed]. First one was offensive. Second was stating my public ip my xbox local ip is. My xbox
port. The third message was a vocie message saying he would not join my random party because he isn't protected and after what he did he wont join. I saved all these messages. Where can I send this proof?

Any proof that your internet connection has been attacked needs to be sent to your ISP.

DDOS attacks are illegal in most countries and your ISP are obligated to investigate.

You can also report the person in question to microsoft via your console.

They only need to use a very simple bit of software to find your location, they are not doing anything magical.

I would also consider getting rid of your friend that fetches the person along with them.

 

I did remove the friend that brought him along. And I do understand it is illegal. Ill snap shot the messages and give them to my isp

 

Heres a tip if anyone weird invites you to a party, don´t join.

Don´t write messages back, block him and all will be fine.
