Someone kicked me off my own internet over Xbox LIVE for a few minutes?

I was kicked off my own internet, in other words they did a "DDoS attack." What can I do? I filed a complaint and called Microsoft. Microsoft told me to set up a firewall but I already have a firewall setup and I still got booted! I contacted my Internet
Provider. They are investigating but keep telling me that Microsoft has the power to do something since my Internet providers don't have access to the Xbox LIVE.

In the Xbox Code of Conduct, Section C, Bullet 10 states that Illegal activities are prohibited over Xbox. A DDoS attack IS illegal and is against the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. It is also against the Police and Justice act of 2006. So someone please
tell me what else I can do?

Continuously repeatedly getting kicked off live

I keep getting kicked off of xbox live. sometimes it's a few minutes and sometimes its seconds before im kicked off after i reconnect. other times it simply won't let me reconnect. i have verizon DSL internet with a Westell Model 7500 router with the ports
open for Live. My xbox is hard wired to the router. i called verizon and they said there is nothing wrong with my internet.

can anyone help me?

 

My Xbox live account was banned I'm ready to get it back I got banned kids got me off on purpose

I got kicked off Xbox live for saying someone was bad and he got all of his frineds to report me to get me kicked offline on purpose he blamed a loss in a game on me and I want my account back please

If you know the gamertag of the person who did it then use the dashboard reporting tools to report them. Go to their bio and select File Complaint then follow the instructions provided. Then Avoid and Block the person so they cannot contact you again.

As for the attack, if your internet service provider had not issued you a new IP address when you called them the first time please call them again and request one.
