Someone is trying to boot me.

I was playing gta online and some dude came to me and started to kill me and so I started to kill him 2 or 3 times and then a couple of seconds later he sends me a message saying (iI'll boot you for that) so I got off the game and I block and banned him
but I don't know if he's actually got banned. Today I was on the same game with different people and I was protecting my friends from griefers and later after that this dude came up on me and killed me so I started a 1v1 with him until I got 4 or 5 kills on
him he sends me a xbox message saying he'll boot me to. I talked to him for a little bit calling telling him he's salty over a couple of kills and I did ban him and block him but I don't know if hes actually banned either. Microsoft if you see this please
do something look at the messages that they sent me and ban them for life my gamertag is I banned so many people on xbox I don't know if their getting banned or not. I'll send you guys there gamertags if someone reaches out to me.

Hi there,

I'm going to assume you mean reporting the players by "banned" them.

The reporting function does not immediately ban players. It sends your report to an Xbox Enforcement Employee to be reviewed and deem whether a punishment is needed or not.

Tampering with network devices is a federal crime in the United States and can be seriously punishable. You did the right thing about blocking and reporting him, thank you for helping Xbox become safer! If you happened to get booted offline, please follow

Also, please do not provide their gamertags here. That is a security restraint and would probably result in your post being removed.

Hi,

Players cannot ban other players. Only Enforcement has the authority to make enforcement actions on others.

You can change your xbox ip. But you can put the privacy to friends only. And i think with that you don't get communication from outside your friends. I THINK.

They can boot you offline which is know as DDOS. Check
here to learn what it is and what you can do.

It's happened to me once and I unplugged the router for 15 minutes then it was okay after that.
