Someone I blocked just added me as a friend

What is the point of blocking someone if they can just add me as a friend without problem? Someone recently added me to their followers list, due to the fact I have never met this person before in multiplayer or in real life, I immediately blocked them,
after I did, I noticed they were still following me, just a few minutes ago I received a notification that they had added me as a friend, I have had no further contact with this individual between when they followed me and now, why are they able to add me
as a friend? Is there no point in blocking them? Please help me find a way to get rid of this person as soon as possible, thank you

Friend On Xbox live

Hi, I have a problem I can not add a friend to friends on Xbox 360, he has an Xbox One, but as I added it, an error pops up and as others add it are normally on the list of obscene added. ps has not blocked me

Xbox not saving unblock/unmuting someone

So I blocked a user around 6 months ago, and recently I tried to unblock him. I was in a party at the time with one other person, and when the blocked user came in the party I tried to unblock him. When I entered his profile, I unmuted
then unblocked him, and added as a friend. When I returned to my party, he was still muted and blocked. I then added him as a friend, and not only was he still blocked, but there was a chance it wouldn't even let me unfriend him as well. I've looked everywhere
for a solution, and no one has had this problem. Please help

Are you sure that person used the same account ? maybe there is a little difference in name like (space) or dot.

or that person is just your friend or family member and knows your account login , and its
pranking you . try changing the password . entering the website on
console so you get sure , if there is a phishing scam program on your PC
block again that person and check if he can add you.

The xbox one friends system is diferent to the xbox 360 system. If you both add eachover you will see friend only information. But if only one has added the other as a friend they will only show as a follower to the other, unless they have also added them.

When you block someone who has added you as a friend that also removes your account from their friends list.

My point is that they are blocked and they still appear as a follower. That shouldn’t be the case as they no longer have me as a friend.

I’m just looking for that to be fixed.

Yes but blocking and muting does not remove someone who is not following me

. Let me explain it as if I was the person who added me. Okay here goes, I recently added someone as a friend but they blocked and muted me without adding me back. So I changed my relationship with this person and removed them as a friend. I no longer see them
in my friend's list and that is what is supposed to happen. But for some reason, my profile is stuck in their follower's list and it says I am still following them. How am I still in their follower's list when I am no longer following them almost a year later

I noticed an alert that someone added me as a friend earlier today looked at their bio and noticed a 0 Gamerscore and something about going and seeing their pics at some website like everyone has said I just blocked them and it took me off their friends
list once I did that. More then likely its a scammer of some sort.
