How to reset how mant times making your xbox a home xbox ?

I would suggest trying to redeem the code again and if that doesn't work the only real option is to contact Xbox support by phone. I know you said that you couldn't do that but they are the only team who could look up your account and pre -paid code and
see what is going on.

the 4 digit code for the family password can only be reset by calling support. There is nothing we on the forums can do about it.

If it's a 4 digit code to get into your account then you need to delete your profile from the console.

 

You have to wait 12 months.

You can set your home console 5 times per 12 months which is more than enough unless you are trying something dodgy.

If you have reached the 5 time limit then you will have to wait 12 months until you can change it again.

Unless you have had a replacement console due to a repair or a new console that is registered then you will not be able to get the limit reset.

 

This may be a silly question Badger but is it 12 months from the first change or from the last? I'd say the latter but you never know how the minds of company executives work.

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to five times during a one-year period. This period works on a rolling basis, starting the moment you change your home Xbox for the first time. If you reach your limit
of home console changes for the year, you’ll get a message letting you know the next available date you can change it.





When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your old "home" Xbox.

 

There ya go.Yeah.it starts from the first change.
