Someone has threatned my account on xbox live

So I was playing Destiny on the Xbox One today when i came across an individual who said that i was Sh*t, due to the game i just played i didnt do to well. After a few messages were exchanged, he then went on to say and i quote "Keep going and it will be
the last time you play the game" i replied with "?" and then he said "I can make sure your account gets deleted" I feel that this individual is bad for the community and am wondering what actions will be made to this person. His gamertag is
[Mod Removed]. Whilst writing this message i have received a message from him saying "have fun while you can you never know when i might just hack your account or just delete it.

Well thanks for the help and advice, I have to admit I do have quite the mouth on me especially when I get disrespected. (And believe me, it happens a whole lot) hopefully the guy that's been messing with me will get punished. I wish there was a way to find
out if its been delt with. I hate having to deal with this nonsense, but I guess it's expected.

I second the motion to change your settings so that you only receive messages from friends. I also would go one step farther and always use party chat while playing with friends and change the settings there so that it is by invite only. This way the only
thing I deal with while playing are my friends and the game itself. No ranting, threatening or nonsense from adults or kids.

Sorry to hear it. However, it is against the forums terms of use to name and shame. Please go to the person's bio and select File Complaint then follow the instructions provided. If you are playing on an Xbox One you can also report the message. The
report is sent directly to the PET to investigate and take any necessary action on.

I hate to say the common game between the two people in this thread that talk about harassing players is COD. I would advise to find friends to play with and not to talk to other non-friend on that game.

All you can do is block communications and file a complaint, the proper enforcement will be taken within 24 hours of the complaint. See

Please do not name the shame on the forums.

If you find this to be a serious threat you can of course report it to your local police and they can investigate.

If you were told that by a Support agent on the 1-800 phone line. Then they were wrong, also it is against forum rules to include gamertags. When you are talking about accusations like these.

All you can do, is to block communications with said gamers. Also, if you communicate with them after blocking them. It will unblock them from not being able to send messages to you.
