someone hacked my microsoft account

First the guy sent a message to all friends and recent players saying he can mod or give you master prestige in call of duty ghosts and i fell for it big time so i said "cool can you do it for me"? well we talked about it i was a little paranoid about it
but he made it seem legit as possible he even invited friends to the party to vouch for him that he mods also he said he was from some modding website and he mods for everybody but in the end it had to been a lie but we played a few games of call of duty ghosts
and then he seemed so legit i fell for it and first i asked if he had kik messenger and he said yes so he said it would take 30 minutes at the most to download the mod but in like about 45 minutes it sent me a message on my phone saying my number i put on
my account he been deleted so i knew at that time something was wrong by that time i tried logging in but it was already too late he had changed the number on my account to his and my email to his i'm guessing also but i tried fighting back by going on the
microsoft website and changing my password turns out i did successfully today but sadly he changed it again just around 2 hours ago and i'm locked out of my account again if anybody's there please help.

How did they hack your account?

Offtopic, does anyone know how to remove the credit card number from a microsoft account, because I want to do that, because I have no plans to buy any digital games, and don't want someone hacking the account and knowing my credit card.

My account has been banned from communications because someone hacked my account. Please help me.

 

Contact Xbox Support 1-800-4MY-XBOX tell them everything also you can get in serious account related trouble for doing well tried doing you should never "Mod" rather you or someone else does it in the end it would be your fault and it wont be forgiven

 

Same thing happened to my son and some of his friends this week. The guy offered to let them download his profile onto their Xboxes so that they can download Watch Dogs for free. They all fell for it, unfortunately my debit card is attached to my son's
account and the guy charged over $60 on my account, changed my sons Gamertag and associated email address, so now my son has no access to his own account.

 

Even if you do get your accounts back they will be banned,the first for modding & account sharing & the 2nd for attempted marketplace theft & account sharing.

All you can both do is report these people via your console if possible but you may as well start new accounts & be more carefull next time.
