Someone hacked in my xbox one/email account

Someone hacked into my sons microsoft account and made several unauthorized charges daily on his account I was not alerted by my credit card company until about the 90th charge or so. I have requested a refund through microsoft support and was rejected
with no real explanation. I have changed my sons password and removed my credit card information from the account. The gamertag name still shows something different than his. What else can I do to get this off from my credit card and remove this other gamertag?
I do not know how they cant see its fraud they racked over 2k in charges in less than a month thats crazy.

I have contacted one of my credit card companies and reported the fraud they asked that I try to contact Microsoft first for them to look into it. Report has been filed with my credit card just don't understand why Microsoft quickly declines feels like
a waste of hours I spent on the phone and online trying to get this fixed. I did reply to the email and requested further review within a few minutes received a generic reply "The decision on your request still stands. We are not able to disclose further information
regarding this refund decision"
