Someone got into my account and changed the user email and password and now I cannot get back ...

Don't wait for them to call you, call them straight away.

If you had credit card info saved to your account then get onto your card company and notify them.

Contact microsoft xbox. normally if someone wants to make major changes to your account, microsoft sends a verification code to your phone or alternative emails. microsoft calls this Security Proofs. there may also be a security question and answer you can
set up. Also microsoft has resources as geographical tracking where they know if someone is using your account from a city or particularly country where you dont normally dwell in and can block it. Some will say microsoft dont do this. THEY DO DO IT.

Change your password for the email address that is associated with yoru gamertag.

recieved email that my password was changed by someone in china and ordered 2 madden 22 games at 108.00 a piece for xbox I do not own an xbox and i cannot get into my account on microsoft or recover it to change password I am old man and not computer savy no person to talk to this was my only option.

i got the same problem, except that i use my account much more often and i have proofen that i am the real owner of the account. i got the passord- reset- email and i changed my password but still. when i want to log in, i get the " u have to proof email
and pw stuff " and it wont work even with the new one. did that about 3 times now

when i try to login with the new password on xbox.com ill get the message that my account is in use by someone else. ????
