Someone else's games on my Xbox

Hi,

I bought my Xbox One used, and since then, when the original owner purchases a game, it gets downloaded on my Xbox. I delete the game everytime this happens, but it is really annoying.

How can I disconnect this previous user from my console so I no longer receive their games? The user does not appear in the accounts on the Xbox.

You'll want to change the email address on the account for sure, but since you don't have access to the email address I would contact the chat/phone teams for some options.

Might've got a little bit excited today because I had purchased the Xbox One and I set up a outlook / Microsoft email perfectly fine but when it came down to entering the email on my Xbox one I obviously didn't look properly because I ended up missing one
bloody letter somehow and I didn't realise till it was too late and I went to check if I could create it but it's already taken so **** do I do

 

The other account has your console set as their Home console, hence their games get downloaded on yours by default. Unfortunately, if you are not able to contact this person then there is not much you can do. When the other person eventually realises and
sets their new console as Home, these automatic downloads on your own console will stop and the games will become unplayable (unless you also own them with your own profile).

Sorry there's not much you can do, but I hope this explains the situation.
