Might've got a little bit excited today because I had purchased the Xbox One and I set up a outlook / Microsoft email perfectly fine but when it came down to entering the email on my Xbox one I obviously didn't look properly because I ended up missing one
bloody letter somehow and I didn't realise till it was too late and I went to check if I could create it but it's already taken so **** do I do

I need help to recover my account

Xbox can only help in password recovery, not email addresses. This is to prevent people from acquiring someone else's account.

If you have a question regarding your ban you can view the action on
enforcement.xbox.com and file a case review if you are eligible.

You'll want to change the email address on the account for sure, but since you don't have access to the email address I would contact the chat/phone teams for some options.

Greetings, Lewis! If you are receiving emails about an account other than your own it would suggest that another user may have inadvertently mistyped their contact email and added yours by mistake. I would recommend getting in touch with phone support about
this sooner than later to inform them of the issue. They should be able to assist further with this. Thanks!

Is this the same e-mail you used to login here? If so, contact Xbox Support, sounds like some lines may have crossed to cause this to happen.

I made an account. tried to link it with my xbox but someone was already using my email. it because you have to have an email to create an account but you don't have to have a password for the account. and some people already have an old gamer tag linked
to there email so.. they type in random email addresses until they find someone's account. this has been happening for years. I don't know how it hasn't been fixed
