    Someone else has been using my email for an xbox account. when i try to login to xbox console companion, it logs me into their account. the account seems to be inactive, only having 30 gamer score. i need to have that account removed.

    Greetings, Lewis! If you are receiving emails about an account other than your own it would suggest that another user may have inadvertently mistyped their contact email and added yours by mistake. I would recommend getting in touch with phone support about
    this sooner than later to inform them of the issue. They should be able to assist further with this. Thanks!

    I made an account. tried to link it with my xbox but someone was already using my email. it because you have to have an email to create an account but you don't have to have a password for the account. and some people already have an old gamer tag linked
    to there email so.. they type in random email addresses until they find someone's account. this has been happening for years. I don't know how it hasn't been fixed

    Contact Xbox support and tell them your situation and they'll remove your email from the account as for the email
