    Someone else has my account and got me banned

    So one of my ex friends has my account and I got in an argument with his friend,and he signed into my account and wrote vulgar language and to his friend who then reported it and to himself then got me banned.And now I don't know
    what to do because he has my account and I dont know how to get it back and I'm also banned because of him.I just really need someone to help me

    If your account has been compromised, you would need to contact support and have them start an unauthorized access investigation. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

    As stated in your other thread, it can take a few days to receive a response to a case review, so you'll need to wait for the enforcement team's response to that concerning the ban.

    For an official answer on why you were banned, you would need to post here -
    forums.xbox.com/.../41.aspx

    Per the terms of service, you are responsible for your account at all times. It is also against the code of conduct to let someone else use your account. If your account had been compromised, you would need to contact support directly and have them start
    an unauthorized access investigation.

    What should I do if someone else had access to my account and had broken the terms and conditions while using my account? Is it still my fault that my account got permanently banned?
