Please make sure that you are signed in to the correct account that owns the games and apps. If someone else owns it and you're using a different account to play, make sure to set the account that owns the games as Home Xbox.

I'm not sure if Blocking someone removes them as a "Favorite" which is what triggers seeing someone sign in. Perhaps unblock them, remove them as a favorite and then re block them?

As for the troubleshooting, i made sure all the xbox services were enabled. Also i saw that someone else had a similar issue to me and what helped them was by installing the xbox companion app and signing into it. However it didn't work for me.

Make sure Windows is up to date.
Make sure your Xbox and Gaming Services apps are up to date.
Make sure you are signed in to Xbox ap and the Store with the same account. I'm leaving this procedure and hope it helps. On your computer, go to Xbox.com and select Sign in. If there are issues with your account, the instructions will help resolve them. If you can't get past the login screen, select I forgot my password and follow the instructions.

If that doesn't work, select Start > Settings > Time & Language. Under Date and time, make sure the Set time automatically setting is turned on.

If none of these options work, select the Start button > Settings > Accounts, find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app, and select Remove. Then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.

I have the same problem, unfortunately your solution did not help.

My Xbox sign in is also my main user account for Windows, so I cannot remove this and try again easily.

Clicking Sign In simply make the window content briefly disappear, then come back with nothing changed and still not logged in.

Signing in with my profile is working everywhere else, just not in the Xbox app, which means I've lost access to my PC software through it - I'm sure this is the same for other too.
