Someone deleted my acount

So I received a final text to the phone number linked with my account saying that the phone number had been removed from the account and to check to make sure that I was the one who had removed it. I followed the Link in the email but it's simply took me
to the login page. When I tried to sign in I could not, and none of the password or username recovery options worked. Furthermore my phone number appears to now be linked to someone else's account, and when I tried to sign in using Minecraft my email was linked
yet another person's account. Long story short, it appears that my account has been permanently deleted by someone other than myself, I have never been inactive for more than a few weeks at a time, so that would not be the reason. Apparently there is no precedent
for this since there's no mention of a similar problem anywhere I could find. I want to know how Microsoft could let this happen.

Edit, it just got worse. I didnt know my account was linked to my bank account but apparently it is because whoever deleted my account also used it to make a purchase for over $200

In relation to the 200$, I would go and check your Microsoft purcahse history at account.microsoft.com to see if the transactions are Microsoft related. If the transactions aren't there, they don't have anything to do with the account. If they are, I would
contact support again and ask for a refund. I would also contact your bank to block the card the transactions were made with.

If you can't access your account, I would follow the steps given by fellow ambassador AngelObullets

If someone gained access to your account and deleted it then you will want to go throgh the Compromised Account steps to recover it. You can find the link here.

When talking to the virtual agent, just write human and you can live chat with support there

you should also contact your bank or credit/debit card provider if you believe your payment details have been compromised or if purchases had been made while the hacker had control of your account
