Someone canceled my account??!

I received an email from Microsoft this morning saying my membership was cancel on the 28th of December. (Which is tomorrow)

I did not cancel my account or try to terminate any xbox live service. I actually purchased the 12 month plan earlier this month.

Here is a copy of the email

Has this unwanted cancelation happened to anyone else?

XBox Live tenure

I checked my gold tenure on the link eG x Thee Elf posted and mine says

Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold this one isn't canceled

Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold canceled

Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold canceled

Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold canceled

gold 1 month free trial canceled

but yet I have no number next to my name

They cancelled my 2nd $50 order.

Someone suggested to try ordering a $10, $15, and $25 code as the 2nd order. That worked for them.

Agreed, you need to call support. The most common cause of an early cancellation is the cardholder cancels it. If you have a card on your account that belongs to a parent or someone else, they probably cancelled. The subs just don't cancel themselves
unless it's expiring or someone else has access to your account (they don't have to be at your console to have access).

Well I just checked my account and apparently someone was kind enough to cancel it because my gold subscription is gone and all my payment options are deleted, so I guess my problem is solved.

Sorry but nothing on an account can be transferred to another account. It is also against the ToU and CoC of the Live service to give or sell an account to someone else. Doing so could result in the account and/or console being banned from Live.
