Someone “botted” my followers

Hi, I’m terrified right now because I woke up earlier this week to my phone blowing up because hundreds of people where adding me. Initially I thought someone was pranking me so I thought nothing of it, until someone told me I could get banned for “botted followers” and how people have used these bots to permanently ban people/players they held a vendetta against. In my case I have reason to suspect they are trying to get my xbox account banned so they can claim my gamertag. If there is any way I can get help with this I will be forever great full!

To my knowledge, the enforcement team takes a lot into consideration before issuing a ban of that nature. If sincerely you've not done anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about.

Yes i understand i have been banned for botted followers but what im saying I DID NOT bot the followers. People use a tool to bot follow someone’s account and the account owner pays the price for SOMEONE ELSE bot following THEIR account do you not understand how this is wrong? It is entirely out of my control i cant stop someone from spamming bots to follow my account and the enforcement team knows this. Like i could find someone to bot follow someone’s account and result in their account getting banned how is that even legal or fair? I understand there is nothing you can do to help except send the same enforcement link which doesnt do anything as my appeal was already denied but i am posting this to spread awareness to other players that may have the same issue. Microsoft need to fix this immediately it is wrong to permanently ban someone for someone else bot following their account making me lose all my games and content i have paid for and all my progress over 16+ years with 111k gamerscore.

If you didn't do something against Microsoft Services Agreement and the Xbox community standards, there's nothing you need to worry about and it would be unlikely for you to get banned as it's not your intention to do so.
