hey all< im having some troubles and i figured this would be the best place to come for help. I usually always use a wireless boradband from verizon to connect that works perfectly, however i thought id try and use my old standby method of tethering to
my pc and sharing the connection to my xb1 since im out of data at the moment. ive tried both easy tether pro and pdanet and im always stuck behind a strict nat type. (im only trying to update my games, and i have super fast 4g where i live.) i tested it on
both my 360 and ps3 and connected without any issue. for some reason it will not work with xb1 tho. i can access the internet, connect to live and sign in but thats about it. ive tried scouring the net for over a week now and either the methods i found wont
work, or are just too ridiculously complicated. can anyone out there help me out with this issue please? im using windows xp (ancient, i know). when i test my multiplayer connection i have 2.0 mbps down and 1.3 up. any help would be GREATLY appreciated. any
suggestions at all that are fairly simple?

    :)

    Xbox connection issues HELP!!!

Are you sharing internet connection? Because this "both have open NAT types" sounds like you are sharing internet.

Your network is behind port restricted NAT

They have slower internet and you are wondering why your connection is slower?

Depends on the router on how to disable NAT or make NAT less intense. We will need your service provider (at the place that has restrictive NAT) and the router they have.

Those will help us reconfigure a router / modem with different nat settings.

is your router set to open or closed? Having the router open makes the strict nat change to good nat type.
