Some Xbox Music Playlists Not Playing

In the last two weeks, some of our playlists on our Xbox Music service stopped playing on our two Xbox 360s at home. All of the playlists work fine on other devices like our Windows phones and on our computers running Windows 8. The problem is only happening
on Xbox 360, and only certain playlists. Others work fine. The problem is not isolated to the same playlists -- some work fine, then don't the next day. Playlists are affected on my account and also on other family members in our house. Instead of getting
the "play all" etc. options after selecting the playlist, we only get "delete playlist" as an option on the ones that are not working. I have cleared the cache on all machines several times which prompted some updates and this did not fix the problem. Does
anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I have created multiple playlist on my Xbox console using Xbox music app... Buy on my windows phone 8 device (HTC 8x) I only see some of the music in the playlists (and in some cases zero music)... I am a Xbox music pass subscriber.



I expect this to work just as the MS adds say it should play on all devices.



I haven't tried on my windows 8 laptop yet to see what is in the playlists.

 

Can I import iTunes playlists into Xbox Music?

I bought into the "vision" of Xbox Music being a central point of music management for my laptop, Surface and WP8. However, the experience has been pretty terrible so far. We've been iTunes/iPod users for many years. We've ripped a ton of CDs into iTunes
and created a lot of playlists. I thought it should be pretty straightforward to import my iTunes music and playlists over into the Xbox Music world, based on what I've read about Xbox Music. However, I cannot figure out how to make the playlists work. My
problem is specifically about the iTunes playlists.



I *am* able to import an iTunes playlist onto my WP8 phone, using the beta version of the Desktop Sync app. That worked really well. But that's really not what I want to do. Ideally I want to import all of my iTunes playlists to Xbox Music on my laptop,
and have my phone sync with the Xbox Music service, using the playlists and music that I'm managing on my laptop. But I have no idea how to make Xbox Music import iTunes playlists. I was able to export a playlist from iTunes and import it into Xbox Music,
but it couldn't associate any of the music with the playlist, so it was useless.

This works really well on the WP8 phone, so I'm not sure why it can't work on Xbox Music. My favorite playlist has about 700 songs on it, and I really really do not want to have to re-create it in Xbox Music. I know that Xbox Music is early and will probably
be improved, but that's not really an excuse. Does anyone know of a trick that works? Thanks.

 

I don't have a solution, but just wanted to say that I have the exact problem on my Xbox 360. I recently had 1000 songs on that playlist but cut it down by 70. I just get the delete option on that playlist when on the Xbox 360.

 

I've been having the problem myself recently! It sucks that no answers have been given yet about how to fix this. I've had to use the Xbox Music app on the Xbox One and that app is atrocious! Is SOOOOOO slow and takes forever to load anything! I'm hoping
that posting in here will help boost the main post! I want to use my playlists on my 360 again!

 

Same issue also...anyone have any knowledge on how to fix without losing erything or having to start over?

 

I have the same issue. I make a playlist on phone. It shows up on 360 with the correct number of tracks but only lets you delete it.
