1) Notifications screen won't load

2) No Game DVR Audio

3) Game DVR doesnt always record, even though it says it did

4) WE NEED CLEAR ALL NOTIFICATIONS

5) WE NEED CLEAR ALL UNSAVED CLIPS OPTION!

They will probably have to writedown $1 billion in R&D, breaking contracts, etc. under this plan, just a rough guess.

Everyone is having a blast bashing X1. Sure it's fun to watch a train wreck. Maybe instead of taking joy in this situation though, we could provide some actual feedback. It goes far beyond the MS vs Sony aspect of this. A little company named Apple had a
showing yesterday too.

A few times now Microsoft has failed horribly when trying to compete with the newest big thing. Beyond just failed, they have actually gambled chunks of their market share going for the bigger prize. Apple put out the extremely popular Ipod, Microsoft countered
with The Zune. Google secured the worlds trust in being the most efficient search engine, Microsoft decided to launch Bing. Google and Apple have made amazing use of touch-screens, so Microsoft put out Windows 8 (ignoring that Google and Apple already have
respective OS' built from the ground up to ONLY be used with touch screens).

Microsoft ruled the 2 most important markets in computing, workflow and gaming. In this video you get to see an absolute genius. A man who knew what his company was and where it needed to go. A man who pushed a market no one else was already pushing.

Now Microsoft is in a position where they have lost their customers confidence. People have started to turn to MACs to get their work done on, gamers have been turning anywhere they can. Windows 8 is not workflow friendly, Windows 8 has issues with some
games. There is a company right now porting as many games to Linux as they can. Linux Development kits are coming. Sony is sitting on a throne of used games for the living room gaming market. Microsoft has been defeated, fully and completely on all fronts.

This is where a lot of people break for the door, i will be one of them. On my way out though i would at least like to share a few thoughts about how Microsoft may Salvage their brand. Their current products are beyond redemption.

1 - Scrap Xbox One and push the release back a year. Come back with a product designed to do nothing but play video games in the least restrictive way possible. No DRM, no online check ins, no forced Camera/Microphone. Assume no one trusts you when you design
this product. Design it in a way trust is not required.

2 - Make the Natal 2.0 and TV functionality, of the current Xbox One, a separate stand alone product that can (but doesn't have to) be used with the Xbox One or the next version of windows.

3 - Make a new OS designed for a desktop computer that uses mouse and keyboard. Regardless of current trends, billions of people still have a PC. Create this OS in a way that it can be integrated with the Xbox One and the Natal 2.0. Also, allow this OS to
play any Xbox One game, if the PC it is installed in meets requirements.

With a compartmentalized approach, you will reach more people. The people who want it all, they will get it all. The people who want just some of the functionality, will get what they want. You can not finish off Apple, but Apple can not win over the gaming
market. You can not finish off Playstation, but Sony is never going to dent the sales of Windows OS. If you lose both these fronts, you will have nothing.

 

They will surely be working on a fix mate

as for no dvr sound alot of people have this issue

Try hard reset seemed to temp fix this for me
