Some problems with the XBox One Preview Program

Hi everybody' !

I come to you today 'caus i have some problems with the preview program, and specialy the dashboard app.

I explain.

I'm already in the database of Beta tester user, but i wasn't at home when i had the message from MS with the link of the dashboard app.

When i came back home, i have been flood of PM and wasn't able to found the MS message again... So it's impossible for me to download the dashboard app.

I already delet / install my profil, and i receive 3 invitation from friends per week...

Do you have any solution for me?

Xbox One Preview Program Problems

I've been accepted to the Xbox One preview program about 2 weeks ago but i have yet been able to access the Xbox One Preview Program forums so i can express some issues and problems i am having. Can someone help me fix this error?

LOL..... just wait until you come home your Xbox is fried, wont turn on.... dead... from an update. Hope you have warranty because the best is yet to come! (Speaking from experience... btw)

 

I have a solution. Don't be in this Preview Program thingy. Opt out if you're in.

Cons with Preview Program: The software is going to be obviously buggy, what more can I say.

Cons with not being in it: You have to be patient. But you have the full working software.

 

I've been in the preview since it started and I haven't once had an "obviously" buggy update, every update I've had has been solid.

King. I remember when you wrote on here when the update killed your console, tbh you are the only person I've personally read about who's update killed the console, for this reason it really doesn't worry me. If I was reading about this happening quite often,
I'd of backed out the preview a long time ago.

 

This topic isn't here to ask if it's good or not.

I just want to have the link to download the dashboard app.

I'm already in the preview, but i don't have the dashboard on my xbox.

 

If your already in the preview you'd probably have better luck asking for help in the Update Preview Forums.

 

@Goat.... I read numerous threads from forum regulars who had "issues" with the preview program, hence my Pro/Con thread on the PP..... being a guinea pig has it's risk's. When I talked to the support member about my console dyeing; the first thing he
said was "I see you are a preview program member. Did you have a console update before your concern?"........ nuff said.... but I am back in the PP.... I have warranty until September... after that, I think I'll unenroll from it.

The problem is that i can't access to the update preview forum, even when the support give me the direct link to the forum...

It's the support who tell me to ask here.

have you tried a hard restart? Hold down power button till XB turns off.. unplug from wall... wait a few minutes, plug back in and restart XB

That usually fixes 99.9% of any minor issues
