Some of my Xbox Friends show as offline, even though they are not appearing offline.

Thanks for getting back to us in regards to this! I would like to ask, have you been able to test your network connection? How does your NAT type look? Is it moderate, open or strict? Also, if you have not tested your network go ahead and
'Test multiplayer connection' and let us know if you get any error messages.

No I have not received a message from them. It says I have a perfect record

Hi Robert,

I know this issue can be frustrating since it makes it harder for you to play with your friends who are online. Since your friends list is tied to your Xbox profile my suggestion would be to remove and then re-add the profile and let the data re-sync from
Xbox Live.

First remove the profile and then go ahead and do a
hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. During this time
go ahead and also unplug your router and modem for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect the network hardware and the Xbox and turn on the Xbox. Once it's back on and connected to Xbox Live, go ahead and re-add the profile.
