Some good old Xbox 360 discussion about gamerscore and being banned

When i was reading on the forums a few days ago, i read something from one of the ambassadors of where on Xbox 360 it will label you as a "cheater" if you modded your account/gamerscore. He talked about that you will have your gamerscore removed and banned
from getting gamerscore on 360 if you have no time stamp/date on online only achievements like on GTA 4 and 5, some assassins creed games and so on. So, what im wondering about is if i play some black ops 2 and get the campaign and all the DLC zombie achievements
(including the solo Easter Egg ones) on "offline" (due to my internet connection being stupid and won't connect to Xbox live on the 360 via backwards compatibility for days on end), will i be banned from getting 360 achievements on 360 or on Xbox one?

No. If the achievements can only be earned while online and your internet connection drops, you would be disconnected so you wouldn't be able to earn them offline. If it's something that can be earned without playing an online game, then it doesn't matter
if your internet drops and you earn it offline. The enforcement team can tell the difference between a modded achievements and a non-modded achievement.

Hello, no I see no reason as to why you would get banned here. Now for some reason if you cheated and obtained your gamerscore then tried to go online and it shows, that might be a reason to be banned. All I say is dont cheat or mod the controller or console
when it comes to XBox...it will be found out!!! Read enforcement.com website so you know the dos and donts of XBoxing!!

You may not be banned, but just receive a gamerscore reset. That would be up to the enforcement team though.

ahh, thank you for the answer! just to answer one more question of mine, lets say i somehow modded some achievements for BO2 into my account, that are online only ones (like the diner turned achievements), if i got those achievements WITHOUT a time stamp on
them, i will be banned? (and for anyone reading this, modding is bad and stupid. please dont risk your account doing this and then complaining of how you "don't know" how you got banned)

been an off-topic section. As it is there isn't anything we are allowed to discuss there that we can't already discuss on any of the other three discussion boards.

However they do have an off-topic thread on there and to be honest that is a pretty good compromise. Only problem being that one of the reasons for game discussion threads being banned, on the old forum, was that an all in one thread made discussions hard
to follow.
