Some games won't work

Some of my own games would not work and it says that it's because it needs DirectX at least version 9.0 while I have a version 12

I don't know what I should do.

Hi Everyone ,.. I have some issue with my xbox ,... Sometimes when i download or update a game it doesn't work anymore ,... I start the game and when the loading screen appears the game automaticly crushes ,... It doesn't happens with all games but
it happens often and i have to reinstall it ,.. and it happens to two of my friends as well

 

If your issue is realted to PC games and those games are old games sometimes you need to install the package of Direct X9, some dll neecsary to run the game are included on this packages and sometimes doesnt came on the DX11. So we recomend you to install
a DX9 in your computer. Let us know if this works for you...

 

I actually have tried to install DX9 but it also said that it isn't compatible with the version of windows currently installed

 

Are the games in question, games that you purchased threw the Microsoft Store?

 

If the games are not Microsoft store purchases. Generally you can find a folder in each of the games file directories labeled _CommonRedist. Within that specific folder, you should find the specific DirectX file you need to install for each specific game.

Here's an example for a specific games DirectX file location.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Darksiders Warmastered Edition\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010

Where did you get these games from? Also, what are a few of the names of the games in question?
