Some games that I got from free games for gold are not on my download history anymore! I wanna download them on my newer xbox 360!!

No, thats not what i am saying.

I am saying that as a gold member that only has a 360, you can now add the free xbox one games for gold to your download history direct from your 360 dashboard.

Once you get an xbox one those free xbox games you added will be free to download to your new console.

You apparently could download them from this site before, you can now do that on your console.

I do not have a xbox one at the moment but plan to get one sometime. I have xbox live gold, currently in use for my xbox 360. Im not fully sure, but it seems I cant download the free xbox one game from xbox.com; must I have an xbox one in order to get them
for free? I would like to have them on my download history so I may play them once I do purchase an xbox one.

 

Question: do you still have active Xbox Live Gold subscription? I think you need one in order to download games you got in the past with the games for gold list. ( that's if you bought it *Free* and downloaded it.

No I don't. This is what it says on the link you gave me: Do I get to keep the games?

For Xbox One, you can play them as long as you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox 360 free games are yours to keep.

 

Ok let me ask you this. when you log onto xbox.com and look under My Account, Under transactions do you see the Free Gold games? If you don't then it's my guess the system didn't credit you as earning the right of ownership of it.

 

You shouldn't need Gold in order to redownload games for gold that you have previously downloaded. You get to keep them whether you are Gold or not. Are you sure that there wasn't another account on the console that may have made the "purchases"? And
they definitely aren't in the download history when you check it on your console?

There was ONLY 2 accounts on the xbox at the time that were being used regularly, but I didn't know exactly which one downloaded it so I checked BOTH. No game. I remember downloading it. It's just not on the download history anymore and I want to play it!!

 

What games are you referring to? Are the games still available in the marketplace? If they are then there must have been another account that had downloaded them. The only time that games would be removed from your download history is if they have been
completely delisted and become unavailable. Are you sure that a friend didn't download the game using their account on your console?

 

The game is halo 3, and I'm 100% sure it wasn't a friend!
