some games have been slowly freezing

I have been playing games like rainbow six siege and doom and randomly my game will start to slowly freeze. when i try to close the game the Xbox home starts freezing until the game completely closes. I don't know if this is happening because of the recent
update that the Xbox had.

I'm having problems with my Xbox one

got it at launch and it is slowly and slowly starting to be less responsive. Also always takes long to load when I first turn it on. Idk if that has anything to do with the UI but its def alot slower.

Also freezes alot lately. Anybody else having similar problems?

As the title says, my white XBox has been having some problems lately. Games have been randomly freezing, my controllers randomly stop responding in the middle of playing games, my Xbox is freezing, and I am losing connection to online games. What should
I do?

Hey there SilverStrike!

If you haven't yet, try
power cycling your console. This is similar to clearing the cache on other electronic devices and it can sort of "refresh" things and make them work properly again.

Let us know if that doesn't necessarily do the trick and we'll look at other things.

Hi Suranjan, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Alright. Let me guide you. I also have an Xbox One S, and it is also out of warranty.

When you sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/devices kindly click on "start order" for the console and once there under the category choose "device" and then under "issue type" choose "Games unexpectedly drop to the dashboard without a warning" and then add additional information on the box provided. Choose your address and then you'll now have an option to choose the order that you would like.
