Some friends deleted and I can't re-add them

So I had a problem the other day where my Xbox would not connect to anything. Support resolved that by having me delete and reinstall my account. However now I have 3 friends from my favorites who somehow got deleted from my friends list. When I go to
re-add them it says "Sorry we can't save your changes right now..." It's the same through Smart Glass. When I try it through Xbox.com it says "This person has blocked you" which I know isn't true as I was in a party with them last night. We couldn't hear each
other but through texts he said I was in his friends list. In the party I was in with them we would be talking and then suddenly one by one we couldn't hear each other and then it would state they were offline, but still in the party with me... And trust me
I've done all the typical stuff to try and resolve this, hard reset, router reset, redownload profile, exe.

xbox live adding friends

i deleted my profile and re downloaded it today after having connection issues and now I lost all my friends and cannot add them back in or send them a message. help

KOS DEATH HCL I followed your instructions and guess what it didn't work but in fact deleted all my friends??? And because I still have this glitch I can't re-add any of my friends so what am I supposed to do??

 

If you have done everything that would be suggested here you should probably get it touch with phone support again since they are the ones that helped you to resolve the initial issue. To me it sounds like an account issue because for some reason the system
thinks your account has been blocked by the other user.

When you did the hard reset did you unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes? You might try that in conjunction with a hard reset.

I did unplug it the other day when I was talking with support. I'll try it again but I think its a cloud issue. I just tried to play Fallout but it just gave me the error " We couldn't sync your data with the cloud right now."

 

Oh also I can't view the profiles of these friends it is saying are blocked, it says their activity feed and so on is empty.

 

I got the same thing with a friend i dont even think he can see my messages tho but he didnt block me
