Have you tried creating a new EA account and then logging in with those credential when playing a game? Maybe that will will move the link to your new EA account.

first of all there is the link to
Troubleshoot your Xbox One wireless Controller.

But please test first whether the controller on the XBOX Console also shows this error. If so, then it is damaged and you should replace it.

If the controller still has a guarantee, contact the
support.

There's an issue with the servers currently. Once that's fixed, you should be able to log in.

If your profile is on Xbox LIVE, then a copy of it is always on the servers, and deleting it from your console will not eliminate it. The idea is to get the profile off of the console so that you can clear the cache and put a fresh copy o the profile back
on so that any errors will hopefully be removed.
