(SOLVED) Xbox Party Chat Error Via App - Windows 10

hi all - i wanted to share this with everyone as, after spending hours with useless Microsoft support, switching up all types of network configs, changing teredo setting dmz ect, basically tried everything, to connect to an xbox party chat via the app -
nothing was working after a solid week of working it down of what was the issue it seems it was 1 of 2 things- windows 10 pro or killer ethernet - i changed motherboards to a mobo with a realtek ethernet and install win 10 home instead and like magic it worked,
you do have to download xbox app beta also - hope this helps someone ( also be sure to change mic and sound settings to your headset in settings and reset pc before loading the app)

Thought I'd post another work around for this issue that I've just come across..

For this you will need to have a Windows 10 PC or Laptop nearby but with this setup you won't need a chat cable from the controller to the MixAmp which I felt was a good positive.

Basically I've connected the MixAmp Pro to my Windows 10 PC via the USB power supply, then connected the optical cable to the Xbox One as usual, on the PC launch the Xbox App and then invite friends to Party via the App (invites go to their Xbox) once in the party you can do everything as normal having Dolby Digital sound from your Xbox One to the headset as well as the Xbox Party Chat with no cable to the controller.

Obviously using this method on the PC you could also use Discord/Skype chat if you prefer but if your friends just use Xbox Party Chat then this is a solution I hadn't previously thought of.

The party chat isn't working on my windows 10 pc

When i try to join / create a party chat on the windows 10 xbox app it says: Your network blocks party chat [0x89231806]
