Hi. I'll explain the situation. I had the XGP before, with 2 games installed, Halo and AOE II, those are the games that are giving me some problems.

Once my subscription ran out, I uninstalled them (don't remember how, with the Xbox app or without it, can't remember) but as you can see in the photo, they're still there "installed". If I click "iniciar juego" (play the game) it does nothing, app freezes
and nothing happens. If I click "desinstalar el juego" (uninstall the game), nothing happens. If I click the green button "Instalar" (install), again, nothing happens. Can't play those games.

I've cleared the cache and reinstalled the app, but still the same problem.

Do you have an active Xbox Game Pass PC subscription? If your subscription ran out, the play and install icons would not work since you do not have access until you purchase the game.

I was following those instructions and discovered the solution, is not exactly in those posts but it worked.

I tried to update the Microsoft Store, in the process, I clicked the "download" (?) button that you can see in the picture and opened the available updates. Surprise! Both games are there "to be updated", download it directly from this menu, clicking on
the game and then clicking "install" won't work. Now my Xbox (beta) app shows the game as installing.

Hey there, So I was looking up this problem as I haven't heard of it before. I found a couple of links, one was from the Windows forums that has a rundown of what to try to fix it and the other is an article from True Achievements that went over this problem
last July. See if either work out for you and if any Xbox Ambassadors besides me has seen this issue with a solution, please post

Have you tried using the Xbox App? That should be installed for Game Pass for PC. If you haven't install it, you can do so at https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games?xr=shellnav
