    Solution to problems linking XBox games on PC to web site


    If you're having trouble getting XBox on your PC, along with its games, to connect to the internet, here's what I discovered.

    For me, my Win10 system has XBox apps and several games that link through the Microsoft XBox site. Unless I could link the apps to the internet, the games were useless. They had been working for months, and then they suddenly stopped working. Other people
    were having this problem and couldn't seem to find a solution. The Chat Support agent suggested I turn off my Firewalls and Virus protection program, which made no sense to me. Forum moderators suggested elaborate deletion and reinstall of certain computer
    files, which seemed risky so I never did find a solution. The last chat agent referred me to a different Chat... it seems there's one for MS and another for XBox.

    It turns out that although my computer showed all updates had been done, one did not show, and that was Java. A popup window told me Java had an upgrade, so I clicked on it and the upgrade ran. When it was done my XBox and games issues were resolved.

    I did not see this solution anywhere in the Support Forums, nor was it suggested by the tech support teams. I've notified them of my findings and hope they help you. I'm pretty sure this wasn't just a coincidence that upgrading Java fixed it.

    how do I only get messages off my friends the last 2 days ive had over 30 spam messages on xbox linking me to web sites I've reported all I've got but everytime its a different account sending them nearly all sliver and 0 gamerscore

    No problem. I think since they combined the GFW stuff with the Xbox site it just automatically comes to the Xbox part of the forums, but the link for the other forums are at the top of the site where it says PC Games next to Xbox Forums.

    Found a solution If you contact ZyXEL support and ask for engineer he will email you a firmware patch for this router that fixes the problem, but they wont put it on thier web site
