Solstheim or bust

Yes, Some lore about Miraak & Mora would have been nice if there was a book I never found one and I generally read the books. As for the black books, actually, I did them all except the final one the second time I went to Solstheim to do everything. It is
possible if you just do side quests before finishing Miraak.

 

Got "the house" in Raven Rock. I like the layout and vibe from it. Really love the Morag Tong appearance -- liked the slight connection to Oblivion.

I see what you mean by talking to everyone TLB. Unfortunately most solo encounters in the wild are with enemies, so I've gotten into shooting first and then asking questions. I also tried to get to an island last night, but got 'slapped by a Riekling and
his charger. Must remember to switch out of mages clothing.

Haven't seen Geddyme's waterfall, but did see the one by the werebear camp (snowclad) from on high. I'm guessing the other is near to the Wind Stone?

 

At least you can't kill anyone essential. In Morrowind while trekking across the ashfields it got old beings attacked by ashlanders so I got to where I shot anyone I saw. ...until I got the message sawing that the threads of fate were broken because I killed
the ashlander I needed for the main quest. Watch out for Rieklings, they're mean. Magic in Solstheim works fine but it is one place that keeping shock primed is good since Rieklings are weak to fire but ash spawn are weak to frost. Evetything, including all
the mages fighting each other are weak to shock.

 

I don't get why there are so many mage's fighting on solstheim, I encounter two fighting almost every 5-10 minutes just running around trying to find ash spawn.

 

WC, if you look at the north coast on your map of Solesteim, just a tad left of center, you'll notice a rectangular notch into the coastline. The waterfall lies there. It has two drops and is quite narrow. Impressive from the bottom and also from the back
of a dragon. If you have discovered Castle Karstaag Ruins, fast travel there walk a bit to the west and you will find it.

Have just finished the main quest here, thanks to Christmas holidays. More than a little sick of Hermaeus Mora's attitude, so happy to be finished that. Will clean up the interesting barrows/minor quests/achievements and then start lugging some goodies
back to the mainland with the help of an overcharged Carry ring.
