Solo Gaming vs Multiplayer Gaming

i'll play any and all game modes, but id prefer to be playing co-op either local or online as its just more fun with other people.

I used to be highly competitive, playing tournaments across the globe on CSS or UT but the days of cracking MP games seem to be dying with the influx of foul mouthed children and games like CoD.

 

I'm a 95% solo too. I love a good single player I can get immersed in and forget about the real world for an hour or two.

 

I used to love Gears MP with a solid regular team, but now mainly solo with the occasional co-op.

 

I'm 99% MP. I get bored after 15 minutes of playing SP. I used to be the opposite until I started playing Halo 3 MP.

 

70 % Solo. I really enjoy playing with my mates because they accept I less that stellar. Randoms will make me get ticked. But I have more often than not, got into a random match and have the kids help me out while the adults at best ignore me.

 

Depends. When Black Ops II and Titanfall were out, I was 99% online; now I'm just chilling away with Borderlands and Child Of Light.

100% solo I'll play multiplayer as long as it's not teams. I also play MMOs but only play with others when its forced like a dungeon that you can't do solo

Single player is the entrée for me, multi is the side dish. Each feed my craving for fun.

 

I heavily prefer single player games. 70/30. Multi-Player is fun when it is actually Co operative, and requires coordinating more than a load out.

 

I like to mix it up a bit. These numbers are for the most part being pulled out of my A$$, but they're probably close:

60% solo

30% coop

10% pvp

I used to play a ton of coop on the Bone, but the friends I have on this system don't play regularly anymore, which is why I recently let my Gold lapse (although I'd start it again if FwG gets any better).

I love a good solo game, especially any of the Bethesda or Bioware stuff. From Software also sucks me in with their hybrid worlds.

I've grown to dislike most PvP. I just don't have the skills to compete in most shooters or racing games.

I'm also wary of games like Destiny, which has decent coop if you have friends, but lacks a good matchmaking system for solo players who want to just connect with random strangers for some laid back gameplay.

It is possible to play Destiny solo, but your progress will be impeded a lot due to the fact that stuff will be out of your reach unless you delve into multiplayer.

Basically I do single player stories first and then multiplayer second.
