Solitary Warfare Developer Confirms That The Studio Is ‘Still Here’

Soliary Warfare developers has broken their silence, just barely, after a series of major staff departures. Bonnie Ross Corporate Vice President, Head of 343 Industries, said on the company’s forums that the game is “still here.” development is
being made remote due to pandemic COVID-19 and made no mention of updates on SW, which was being made at a Vancouver, Canada studio. Instead, he referenced some production in development

“We’re all working remotely right now, probably like most of you,” said Ross. “Our new concept is coming along when or how if pandemic is over and done with and we are really been talking about it many conpect and works towards this project. We have cool
and we think distinctive and we have that and both studios our friends from The Coalition with associated with 343 teammates making on tech demo coming in not unreal but same engine as halo. I know it’s a tease, but I just can’t really say anything about it
at this point.”

It was noticed earlier this year that many few studios members including writers, lead programmer, and design director and many employees had have to put this project on hold due to pandemic and 343 have loadfull with biggest halo game "Halo:Infinite." .
The studioa has not issued a response on the matter publicly

Former community manager confirmed rumors about game lacks earlier this year. Same community manager also vouched for an anonymous forum post by a developer that said content development was “critically behind” on Soliary Warfare at the studio and that
they spent too much time experimenting with ideas.

“Those high expectations drove a lot of expensive experimentation,” the anonymous developer said. “We were a big team and knew we couldn’t compete with current immersive sims in production quality and breadth, so we had to be creative and clever and weird.
And we were on our way to make something unique and possibly fun, but probably not what the audience was hungry for.”

Soilary Warfare was last talking about in Late 2019, as the studio haven't released anything like screenshot or a teaser currently in development by 343 Industries,The Coalition and it been rumor that either Bleszinski or anyone as lead director
for Soliary Warfare.

It's interesting to see the Halo and Gears franchise developers working together. I'm interested to see how Solitary Warfare turns out, and I'll be keeping my eye on the project

I don’t see it as the game isn’t good, I can imagine its all hands on deck at all of the developers that come under Microsoft Games Studios. This delay shows that staff welfare is being put first and it is staff who make good games.

As annoying as the delay is, it will be good for Solitary Warfare in the long run. More games should be delayed to think about quality, focus less on crunch in the industry and put staff needs first. Kudos has to go out to Microsoft for this
