Solitare crashing on selection of Daily Challenge

I'm having a problem with Solitare crashing.

I opened it this morning, played the FreeCell Daily Challenge and exited.

Re-opened the app later, got a message that I should update for new features and decided to go ahead and upgrade now.

Following the upgrade, every time I choose Daily Challenge, I get a "Loading" message and then the app disappears.

EventLog has:

Faulting application name: Solitaire.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5ea86a08

Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.18362.778, time stamp: 0x0c1bb301

Exception code: 0xc00000fd

I CAN choose individual games (not the Daily Challenge) and they run fine. It looks like when it tries to retrieve my history for the month, it errors out.

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and doing a reset data from Settings for the app. Anyone got an idea on how I get around this?

Issue should now be fixed according to the official Facebook page:

"Update as of 11:15am PST: The Daily Challenges issue has been resolved. You may need to close and restart the app. We had to temporarily disable bonus XP, but it will be back soon!"

Microsoft casual games community.
Towards the bottom you will see their Facebook page and they ask to post there. There is also a
support sitefor the casual games you can look over also.

I did reboot my laptop, it did not solve the issue. I also uninstalled microsoft solitare app, and reinstalled... did not help. The daily challenges work fine, just the events are not launching

There is no game called ms solitare daily challenges those are just html 5 webgames only vavailable on the Web not pc or consoles although should be playable on console since edge supports html5 games

You can download the free ms solitare collection from the xbox store if you have windows 10 or higher

this was not a dig at you personally. you might want to let the team know that things are worse now, the application crashes whenever I try to load some of the daily challenges. Every attempt yesterday at loading the classic easy daily challenge crashed
out of the application and today I have tried loading the lightning tiles daily challenge and once again the whole application crashes and shuts down.
