solitaire theme not working

The game works fine, but instead of bubbles, I get stars. The bubble theme choice is shown as my choice, but no bubbles, only stars.

People reported this problem to Microsoft Chinese support forum and Microsoft employees replied that the problem is under investigation. We can do nothing but wait for a future fix... Also, according to the posts in this forum, seems that people using languages
other than English and Chinese also have this problem.

Another problem that annoys me is that if the system language is set to Chinese, theme switching no longer works and you can only use garden theme. This problem persists since the very first day and still no fix. It is interesting that Microsoft used modern
theme screenshots in Chinese version marketplace, but user have no access to this theme. I guess the problem is caused by the localization work, since theme change is working in Microsoft Solitaire Collection and Microsoft Mahjong...

Hey, CabinetPond4916! To change your Theme, you will want to hit the Menu button at the top left, and then select Themes from there. In that menu, you should be able to switch it back to Classic, or any other one you want. If you have further issues with
changing that, or the option isn't available for you, please let us know so we can dig into it further!

I never did get a resolution. I've gone through several upgrades, and they still do it.

I did discover if you play with the cards set to a theme other than "classic", the Solitaire collection works. Minesweeper still blanks parts of the screen though.
