Solitaire must be reset to run

Recently when I try to start Solitaire it makes it to the white screen with the blue bar at the top and then dies.

To get it to work, I must go to Settings->Apps & Games, select Microsoft Solitaire Collection->Advanced Options and then choose Reset. Then it works but then has to download my data again.

If I just close the game it won't start again and I must repeat the process.

Suggestions?

Got it figured out - I didn't realize that the game doesn't update itself. I just needed to open the Microsoft Store app and click on the little three dots -> drop-down menu and choose Downloads and Updates. After I updated the game it worked properly.

Try running the Store apps troubleshooter at Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

What's working for problems with Solitaire is resetting the game at Settings > Apps & Features > Microsoft Solitaire > Advanced Settings > Reset.

Have you tried the following:

Reset Microsoft Solitaire Collection.
Run the Windows 10 app troubleshooter.
Reset Windows Store cache.
Update the Windows system.
Update Windows Store apps.
