We fully understand the inconvenience the issue has caused.

With any app type of issue, we can usually start by trying to repair or reset the app.

Solitaire Collection is an application based on UWP architecture.

If you have the Solitaire Collection app installed on your device, you can reinstall the app using PowerShell commands.

• We can type PowerShell, find Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
  
• Type the following command in an elevated PowerShell window to reinstall Solitaire Collection.

  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

  [/tr][/table]
  

Games, like other products, may require an Internet connection during startup.

• There may be different types of content associated with this, such as certain game assets or supporting documentation.
  
• If the application fails to access the links or resources that should be accessed in its design, it may appear that the application cannot run normally at the macro level.
  

We also ran tests for this, and as described, initially we also had issues with Solitaire Collection not working properly.

When we took some action, we managed to get Solitaire Collection to download what it needed.

The steps we have taken are as follows.

Use the command to release the network isolation of the UWP application.

UWP apps, unlike exe apps, are not allowed to redirect traffic locally. Its network environment is relatively isolated.

However, Microsoft still provides commands to lift this restriction.

• Type the command below in an elevated PowerShell window to remove restrictions specific to Solitaire Collection.

  CheckNetIsolation.exe LoopbackExempt -a -n="Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection_8wekyb3d8bbwe"

  [/tr][/table]
  
• If you wish to restore the limit, use the command below.
  
  [table][tr]

  CheckNetIsolation.exe LoopbackExempt -d -n="Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection_8wekyb3d8bbwe"

  [/tr][/table]
  

Then we used some applications that change the network status, configured the global proxy, and adjusted the network environment of the current device.

• We cannot provide such software directly to you. But there are many softwares that fit this need, and you can search the Internet and try them out.
  
• This process may take some time. The process of exploring problems can be regarded as a valuable experience.

No internet connection from a particular app doesn't mean your device has connectivity issues.

To summarize, you may end up needing to execute specific commands for that app and obtain specific Internet proxy software as well as Internet proxy services.

Just FYI,

Updated to the latest W10 build last night, 14291 and the stuck in stopping state issue reappeared again.

Killed the service task (was then in a stopped state), uninstalled the xbox beta app, then reinstalled it again and tested several times. The issue has once again gone away.

I have the same issue, this happens since last companion update. I test on my laptops with w10 and w11 and tis still not works. The last update broke the app
