    Solitaire game is broken


    Solitaire will not load and play. From the intro screen, wait for signin, then select daily challenges. Selecting one of the daily challenges results in an ad playing, then the program closes. Back to desktop.

    And why does your "category" selector not provide an option for Solitaire??????

    Daily Challenge Broken After Update

    The daily challenges are broken for many games right now: Solitaire, Mahjong, Minesweeper, etc. Also, I was getting those errors before I updated, so I don't think it's related to the update.

    I cannot go into my mahjong, solitaire, or jigsaw games for the last two weeks!!!

    What did you do to the mahjong, solitaire, and jigsaw games on my computer? I have not been able to get into them for nearly two weeks!! You need to fix whatever you broke!!!

    Daily Challenge Broken After Update

    The daily challenges are broken for many games right now: Solitaire, Mahjong, Minesweeper, etc. Also, I was getting those errors before I updated, so I don't think it's related to the update.

    And what's broken about it? What platform are you playing on? Are you getting an error? We could assist in help troubleshooting if we had some more details about the error you're seeing.
    Windows 10 … latest everything. This is an old, old, old problem and every thread gets "closed" after a few people say something about it. There is no problem with Microsoft Casual Games and no problem with Microsoft Solitaire … but Sudoku is broken …
    Minesweeper is iffy but Sudoku is really broken. No one understands why it cannot be fixed.

    Microsoft Sudoku is BROKEN

    I have been reading about Sudoku being broken for a long time. It works and then it does not. I have updated, uninstalled, reset and every other thing suggested by the many, many people that keep saying the same thing.

    The app is broken. I have uninstalled it because when you click on the app it comes up … circles for a while and then disappears. It is broken.

    My Windows 10 is always up to date and the apps are up to date as well.

    Sudoku and Minesweeper do the same things. No problem with the Live Xbox apps … solitaire and ultimate word games. No problems at all.

    Apparently, it is NOT we users that are the problem.

    Animation and Sound broken in version 2.0.0.31015

    I was also having trouble with Minesweeper (daily challenges broken) and Mahjong (wouldn't start at all), so I ended up rolling back to Windows 8 via Acronis True Image.

    The latest version of Solitaire back in Windows 8 is 1.7.0.30918, so there is both an OS and app version change. I didn't get the version numbers of the other games in Windows 8.1
