Solitaire Error Code 1170000

Manage to resolve the sign in error after re-register the app:

Get-AppxPackage -allusers *MicrosoftSolitaireCollection* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

When I try to sign in to MS Solitaire Collection, I get a sign in error "We could not sign you in to Xbox Live. Please check the Microsoft Solitaire Collection FAQ.... error code: 1170000."

Unfortunately I can't find this error code, or the answer at that link. I'm running Win 10. Help please!

Same for me as well. Opening Solitaire gives a Sign In Error with error code 1170000. Looks like this update broke the authentication with Xbox Live. Would be great for someone from Microsoft to chime in on this.

Okay I found the problem.

I also couldn't log into Microsoft Solitaire and got the error code 1170000.

I needed to remove the Microsoft Account from my PC and later add it back.

This shows how to fix the 0x406 error for the Xbox app on windows 10. Below you will find the commands that you will need for to put into windows PowerShell. ***POWERSHELL MUST BE RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR EVERY TIME*** Get-AppxPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage
Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage (Restart your computer) Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”} Once this has been done the Xbox App should work just fine.
