    Solid Red dot on Console


    I have an Xbox 360 Slim Console.

    When I powered On my Console The Indicator on Console Turned Red and The Power Supply Has Orange Dot. I even tried all the troubleshooting tips and still no luck Solid Red dot on Console :(

    The solid red dot on an Xbox 360 slim usually indicates a malfunctioning component with your console. Phone Xbox support in your region or use the following address to set up a repair.

    Solid Red lIght

    A solid red dot is unlikely to appear if the power supply is faulty.

    The red dot is the same as the red ring of death on the older consoles.

    Without an error code it could possibly be a hard drive error or a faulty cable.

    Try removing the hard drive and restarting it and try some other cables if you have any.

    Other than that it will need a microsoft repair.

    Also when I turn off (not when I turn on) the console I get the solid red dot, so that doesn’t particularly bode well for me either.
