    Solid orange light on my Xbox one power brick


    Okay this is the first time I’ve had this problem I’ve tried every method unplugging the power brick for 10 seconds I’ve tried to power cycle left power brick unplugged all night spamming eject button unplugging all external sources and nothing has worked

    ok it might be your power strip. the solid orange light on the power brick means that its working.

    My first guess would be the power brick.

    Was the console brand new when you bought it & are you using the correct power brick for your country?
    Yes - brand new. And it's the right one for my country.

    Xbox support insists that if the orange light is solid on standby, everything is fine. Is there any way to check the power brick other than looking at the light?

    I connected one end of tbe brick to the wall socket and other to the Xbox, and its still buzzing from the end thats connected to the xbox. The power brick has a solid orange light without any change when i try to power on the xbox.

    My Xbox One won't turn on after updating.

    Found the problem... it was the power brick. It had a solid orange light which I didn't know turns white when the Xbox is turned on. Talk to an Xbox tech over the phone & she told me that the light has to turn white when the Xbox power button is pushed.
    Used my son's power brick & the Xbox works fine. Just need to go buy a new power brick/electrical cord.
