Sold Xbox and bought Gaming PC. Dropping Ultimate for Game Pass for PC ONLY

Realized that I was better off waiting for the current XGU to expire as there is not

an instant upgrade/downgrade path available for pre-paid monthly game services.

Since those are already paid 4, you must use the time remaining to go to an XGP4PC for example.

Just had to check GP the day of expiration and apply GP4PC as soon as EOS becomes active.

I was honestly thinking I would lose data immediately had I not utilized a "seamless" downgrade.

That did not occur.

Or you can cancel your current subscription to end it now and purchase Game Pass for PC. You can cancel or turn off auto-renewal at http://account.microsoft.com

You can however you Must Turn off auto renewal and wait for it to downgrade.to free as gamepass is lower then xgu

You can't add gamepass time to xgu

It depends on what you bought. There's Game Pass for Console, Game Pass for PC, and Game Pass Ultimate.

If you only bought Game Pass for console, then it won't work on a PC.

Game Pass Ultimate includes both version of Game Pass plus a Gold subscription. So if you bought Game Pass Ultimate, you should have access in both places.

You might've bought the console version of game pass which is not compatible with pc. To use game pass on pc, you either need to buy the pc version, or game pass ultimate
