    Both sold more than their previous consoles at launch,and both are happy with it....

    Also Microsoft makes more money on each Xbox one...

    I'm pretty sure that there are more exclusive games sold on Xbox one...

    That's maybe why Microsoft gave games statistics instead of how many consoles they sold.

    Great move by Microsoft.

    I expected Titanfall to shift quite a few consoles without the price reduction etc but I forsee alot more sales now.

    Even better news is it's now been announced the Xbox One plus FIFA 14 is now reduced to £399

    thought i'd throw some nonsense in as well. Local gamestop got 5 xbox ones in on tuesday....literally saw them come in off the truck. Sold them in 45 mins. My buddy managed to get the last one by the skin of his teeth lol.

    It's simple...the people that are fans of xbox want their "champion" to do well in the battle of the sales. It makes them feel good and justified about their decision to buy it. When it sells out somewhere it means they are not alone in supporting it.
    No one wants to think their choice is a dud and they were one of the few that spent their hard earned money on it. You are fighting against consumer psychology and you will lose.

    PS4 Xbox. people were saying that when they came in stock on amazon they ps4 sold out in 25min. And Xbox one didn't. I was trying to say if it sold out doesn't make it more poplar. Cuz they could of had 20 PS4 and 100 X1. I was trying to use a other Ex.
    Also company's make their hard to get to make demand higher too
