Sold my Forza 6 Xbox One Edition Console to my son and the digital copy won't work

Hi All,

I Sold my Forza 6 Xbox One Edition Console to my son and the digital copy of forza 6 won't work. I have removed the console from my account...Can someone please shed some light on how to get it working.

Change Microsoft account

hi I have an xbox 360 linked with my Microsoft account,my son has bought an Xbox one but it has been linked to his dads microsoft account ,he has downloaded a digital copy of forza horizon 3 onto it.my question is can I transfer the Xbox one back to my account
so I have both consoles on my account without losing they forza game? Many thanks

Windows Play Anywhere and moving from physical to digital edition game

I purchased Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition in physical copy and installed it on my Xbox One, but had misunderstood that play anywhere would only work with the digital version. I would really like to take this for a spin on my PC, but would like to take
advantage of the play anywhere features and shared progress but do not want to buy a second copy of Ultimate Edition.

If I buy just the base digital game, will all of the Ultimate Edition features carry over?

Digital copies of games are attached to the account that purchased them. There is no way I know of that you can transfer a game to another persons account permanently. If you want to sell your games I suggest you stick with disc.

You need to purchase digital copy of games as physical copy won't work on Xbox One S All Digital console.

Also, I have a new physical copy of Forza 6 which won't download. I put the disc in the tray, and instead of installing, it sends me to the marketplace to download the digital version

My free copy of Forza 5 on launch is a physical copy but every other Xbox One game I buy will be digital.

Forza 7 came with my xbox. It is listed as a play anywhere game, so i'm trying to put it on my windows computer since the xbox stopped working. Unfortunately, the store doesn't recognize that i already own the game. Any help?

Do you have a physical or digital copy of Forza 7? The only Xbox One bundles i could find are ones that come with a physical copy of Forza 7.

The reason i ask is because if its a physical copy then this is why its asking you to buy it again for PC. Only the digital copies of eligible games would be play anywhere.
