Software update wont stop

Discus and support Software update wont stop in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; hey there, My system update wont stop, since 9 hours.     Software update wont stop


    hey there,

    My system update wont stop, since 9 hours. The internet speed is not the problem i think its the concole selfe. After 8 hours i turned off the concole by holding the power buttom 8 seconds. But its still on 86%.

    It tells you whenever an app or game is updated when you next switch on your Xbox, in the notifications.

    Thought so. The lack of communication on the party and blu ray stuff especially is really starting to grate on me.

    Hi

    Can you please try
    using this link     and either select the option to either Troubleshoot a system update or Update your console offline and you will hopefully be able to get you console to complete the update.

    Original xbox game on the list, will not work on my slim

    It is correct that the emulating software was last update in 2009 but It was removed from any updates since over 12 months ago.

    As I said any console with that got the update before it was stopped being released will still work but any console that is now trying to get the required update to use an Xbox original game wont be able to get the required update even if they have a HDD

    Sorry but there wont be any more updates for backwards compatiblity,they stopped updating it a couple of years ago.

    It's not on Microsoft side as I can update with no issues but sometimes a insider update could cause this issues on a console as this is not a ready to release update, that's why when you join the Insider program you agree to the fact that it's a software test and could cause some issues to the console that a ready to release software wont
