    I was wondering about the release date of the upcoming public firmware update for an Xbox One system?, This particular system was left in the preview program on an alpha build and it's in need of a proper update to be used again, I couldn't find many topics on the web so I'm not sure if it's something that's classified information or not.

    There is a alpha update available today, but since you want the public update, you need to unregister the console, so it will update to the latest public build. If you cannot access the console, then download the xbox insider app on windows 10, and if you can, unregister the console.

    Just a note...

    make sure the firmware/software is fully up to date before doing the reset
    Firmware is up to date.
