    Social notifications not working


    Hello!

    So I've been at this problem for a decent amount of time now (or moths to be more specific).

    I've had my Xbox since March 2014, and everything has been working pretty much flawless since then, up until December 2014. My "social notifications" suddenly stopped showing. By this i mean // Party invites / Game invites / Friends logging on /
    Achievements / People joining a party im in / People leaving a party im in / Showing the people in a party im in when party is snapped //

    I will not whatsoever get these notifications which is really annoying.

    I have been troubleshooting this with Xbox Live Support numerous times, and at one point i had my console replaced. That worked for a week+, but then back to not working again. And i cannot figure out why.

    My network is saying "your good" on all tests on the Xbox, My NAT is Open, and my Nat type is Coned.

    What i've done to try resolve the issue:

    - Reset my Xbox to factory settings

    - Reset my network / router

    - Deleted / redownloaded my XBL Profile

    - Made a new XBL Profile

    - Deleted the blue ray cache 3 times

    - Hard reset Xbox and unplugged power

    - Connected network through wired instead of wireless

    And the most annoying thing about this now is not knowing what causes the issue.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Social notifications not working

    Hi dude, just get shure.

    Have you tried Managing the Privacy and Safty Settings....

    You can select which notifications you^ll recieve, may you^ve disenebled them all?

    I suggest you to take a look at the settings

    Hello!

    Notifications are set to show all. Only exception is for friends which is set to favourites only. Have tried to change there settings before without any impact on the issue.

    Yeah i male a hard reboot lots of times and for the first start the notifications comes again. But when i restart my xbox one, they desappear...

    My console was set on instant mode because i want to start my xbox with my voice and kinect.

    So, if i understand you my problem is on the instant mode ?

    Hey Matt, thanks for the extra info!

    I definitely understand wanting to use voice commands to wake up your Xbox! Can you test out energy-saver mode to see if you still have issues with notifications disappearing? It'll help us figure out if it's the instant-on that's causing the issue.

    I tested the power saving mode. It works notifications are back.

    So I will try to reset the other mode of launch.

    And I hope the update will change something :)
