Social banning is a joke

It's funny how people will message you talking crap and when you respond, they report your message and get you banned. There's been times I've been banned for calling someone a buster. Yall might as well remove the messaging feature all together unless
you and said person are friends . This is an overly sensitive, trolling community. You literally cant say anything to anyone anymore. Microsoft is exactly right SOFT and and full of retards. I'm sick of being banned when I "RESPOND". I'm not a sensitive, butthurt
scrub that will report someone bevause theyre mad. And how can y'all ban me from a service I pay for? Stop catering to the weak.

Once again I have been given another comm ban even though I never message randoms or speak in public games. This random banning is becoming a joke!

What is hilarious, is the system MS always, always claimed to be infallible is well...erm infallible. You know, something that can, does and will happen when it involves humans. The whole banning procedure has always been a joke, with no way for the accused
to appeal, but still they will maintain, that other than this little 'glitch', their banning process is infallible. I wonder how many people out there have lost 100's due to MS poor banning process.

Shoddy treatment for those people that help pay the wages of those banning them.

 

Sorry to hear about this, but you must realize that the enforcement system was designed around the code of conduct and terms of use that you agreed to when you signed up for the services. These agreements are put in place to protect MS and it's customers
from potential threats. Xbox live has users of all ages and this service is considered a Rate E for Everyone service and all communication need to be at that level.

I agree with the poster not the xbox ambassador on this issue. One thing that really stands out here is the very LIBERAL approach to your broken report system. When it's acceptable to start the "mouth running", then report the responder with zero consequences.
Xbox is supporting the problem and saying it's okay. Referring you to the terms of service is a cop out response to the glaring issue they refuse to acknowledge. Non bias my
[Mod Removed]. Oh i'm sorry did i offend you for using a three letter word in the english language to illustrate a point? Also beware if you use zero "profanity", but directly point out someones blatant ignorance you risk hurting feelings.
If your that much of a pathetic human being that in your mind it's okay to run your mouth via an electronic device, then run crying at the response you have some serious issues. But rest assure your "non bias" buddies at Xbox have your back. Because supporting
the ignorant trolls that pay their checks is working towards that E for everyone goal.

 

You can (in theory) swear as much as you like UNLESS someone is offended by it and reports your message.

As soon as someone takes offense because of what you wrote, and they report that message, that message is sent in with the report as proof and a real life person from the Enforcement Team will look at the report.

If the message attached to the report does not violate the Code of Conduct, nothing will happen to you.

If however, you were baited to answer to a vulgar message, and you fell for the trap and actually responded with a message that violated the code of conduct, and your vulgar message got reported, then the Enforcement person will suspend you.



Whenever someone sends you a vulgar message DO NOT REPLY, instead report the message and block the profile of the person that sent you the message.



This has the following advantages:

1.) You can't get reported for a message you didn't send in the first place. So you won't get suspended.

2.) The other person will ENJOY it when you reply with a vulgar message. If you REALLY want to hurt them, ignore them. There is nothing worse for a troll to not getting a reaction from his taunts. So instead of falling for their trap, just block them and
ignore them. This will make them mad and hurt them more than even the worst message you can think of.

3.) If you report his vulgar messages, THAT PERSON gets suspended. Doesn't it feel good, when someone that harassed you gets suspended? Much better than simply writing them a stupid message, right?

Or what you could do is grow up, stop being a spoiled brat blaming everyone but yourself and except your punishment like a man.

If someone send you a message don't rise to it, just block them, and if the message is offensive report them as well. If you choose to "fight fire with fire" don't be surprised that from time to time you get burned.

Don't you just love it that people whine about their bans and demonstrate in here why they got banned in the first place. Some people never learn from their mistakes oh well what we do if they won't grow up?
